☟ What is the battery life?

The life of the battery depends on the setting and surroundings:
1. Video Recording setting:
The longer the shot lag(PIR interval) set, the shorter the video length set, and the longer the battery life will last.
2. Photo mode is better than Video mode:
A 10-second video recording of a battery consumes almost equal to a hundred pieces of photos.
Shooting at night consumes battery almost twice as much as shorting at daytime because of Infrared night vision LEDs.
3. Trigger frequency:
If the cameras are triggered frequently, the camera will be weaked up frequently to take videos.
The higher the trigger rate, the faster the power consumption.

We'd better not use rechargeable batteries.
We advise to use 8 pcs LR6 AA Alkaline batteries. Because most recording problems are caused by letting the batteries drain below 1.25 volts each.
LR6 AA Alkaline batteries which are recommended are generally 1.6 volts new.

☟ It is not capturing as much detection as I would like.

Most trail cameras on the market are designed to conserve battery life and minimize the number of unnecessary photos taken.
They feature an interval setting, which means any activity occurring during the set interval time will not trigger the camera.
This is why the camera does not take continuous, uninterrupted photos or videos.

Additionally, when the sensor detects movement, the camera must wake from sleep mode and start recording, which takes some time.
Therefore, the interval between two shots may be slightly longer than the set interval time.

If you want it to capture as many moments as possible, we can shorten the set Interval time, but this may cause the battery be drain quicker.
